I really Like what they did with the LRM neck. One of the things that was turning me off about necking the 375R down much further was how short the neck was. That LRM should hold a long bullet good and straight! To bad they didn't make the shoulder a bit steeper, that extra few grains capacity never hurt anybody.

Ah, but I didn't say I had a surfeit of rifles; I specified 26 calibre rifles. I don't yet have a plethora of rifles. :grin: There's room to grow.

An acquaintance of mine did some work with the 375 case…don't think he necked it down to .264 but he did take it to 7mm and had awesome results in the 30s, 33s and 35s.
He actually reported the .375 Ruger should have been the .358 Ruger and gave .358 Norma type ballistics.
If Nosler is looking to spawn a "family" of cartridges I'd be happy to see it happen… 26 NOS, 30 NOS, 33NOS, 35NOS….

Interesting, I would have greatly preferred a 358 Ruger over the 375 I have now. I wonder if you can get 93 gr useable case capacity from the 375 Ruger case?

Gerry- the cartridge was called the .358 Nukalpiaq or 358-375Ruger.
If I recall it had something like 96gr capacity. The guy went by the handle of Murphy- haven't seen him around in a while though.
He also necked it up to .416…a'la the .416 Ruger although way before it came to fruition.
