Range day 270 Bee 444 and 45-70

Tried the 150 ABLR in the 270 Bee.

Best load so far was 72 gr of RL25. Velocity was 3140 fps and .8" group.
The fastest was 72 gr rl22. Velocity was 3310 and 1.25" group from the Bee Ultra weight.

The 444S Marlin was a champ. 265 Hornady at 2285 fps with 54 gr H322 Accuracy was .7" MAX!




Also 265 Hornady at 2150 with 51 gr H322





The 45-70 shot about 1" with thr 350 Hornady at 2100 fps. Needs more work.

Sounds like your ready to hunt. I know you'll shoot more, but 3310 with that 150 is incredible Fotis. We're they warm at all in your rifle?

Your 444 is shooting like crazy. Need to break mine out again.

From all I have seen, those ABLR's are really slick. I am running 3150 outta my short mag, and everything seems to be in check. It was 96-97* yesterday and I had zero issues with any of my loads.

The 168 outta the 7mm WSM is VERY impressive though. I still can't quite believe the numbers, but everything about them has it lining up...

3300 is just SICK. Now, THAT, is a true laser..

WOW! Maybe I need to keep pushing my 270 Weatherby a bit higher. I pushed it to 3200 with RL-22 and could not get 3 out of 3 on to a 10" target @ 100. Maybe I'll give them one more shot after deer season.

I have some 140 AB's but will wait for the 129 LRAB's also
