other than turkey hunting I rarely shoot a shotgun, but looking through my inventory and the shape our country is in, I thought the only home defense shotguns I had were an o/u 20 ga. a combination 12/223, and 2 long barreled semi-auto turkey guns so..... had to look into something to fill that...
Anyone having problems with it? I bought them due to scarcity of large rifle primers. It seems when I get close to book max loads, I start having weird pressure signs with dismal velocities. Pierced primers, cratered primers, zero case head expansion, doesn't seem to be sticky on extraction...
working with a 338 Edge, the data I have found is a max load for a 300 hornady A-tip is 90 gr. of H1000 for 2846 fps. am now at 2823 with 92 gr. H1000. running fed. 215's and they are not starting to flatten, no casehead expansion. do I go up a grain? going to anyways probably but want your...
anyone used them for hunting? Its the closest thing to bergers I can find available, bought them to have something to shoot, got me to thinking, what if bergers are not available in the future.
why can you walk in any store and find every hornady bullet made, any small rifle primer made ,look online and hammer has everything they make in stock, but nosler and berger bullets are nowhere to be found?
since 1984 I haave loaded thousands upon thousands of rounds weighing out each charge on an AMT autoscale, it is now on its last leg. I have to set the scale at .13 gr. less thaan my desired charge in order to get an accurate charge. my question is what is the best trouble free electronic scale...
anyone got a source for them? are they interchangable with other brands? K&M wants 14.50 for a .338 pilot, no problem till they added 23 bucks and change shipping, in a padded mailer they could send it usps for 2 bucks.
