My wife and I are heading to Vegas in a few weeks and staying on the Strip. Any good gun stores I need to check out??

wisconsinteacher-----Wild West Guns have a nice place there and they are nice people. They make some pretty nice custom guns and the Co-Pilot. If your interested in one of their guns however, you need to do well at the tables before you go. But looking is free

Might want to consider spending some time at the Front Sight firearms training center, located about 40 miles from Las Vegas, near Parump, Nevada. World class facility and excellent training.

The local gun stores here sell mostly ARs, AKs, and handguns. They do not cater to the bolt-action crowd.
WWG is on a back street and they have a few nice guns in a side room, but they are overpriced by a LOT on almost everything.
BassPro is south of The Stip and just off I-15 at Blue Diamond (behind the Silverton Casino). It has the same guns as every other BassPro you've ever visited, at the same crappy prices (full MSRP).
Sportsman's Warehouse is northwest of The Strip and carries the same guns as every other SW in the USA.

American Shooters is ok but like everyone has said, Vegas is a little weak on good bolt actions.
Just spent the weekend there for 11 year old girls soccer tourney. Highlight of the trip was Bass Pro Shop. We live within a long goal kick from Scheels, Cabelas and a half dozen sw stores and a couple really good local gun stores and my kid spent two hours awestruck at the Bass Pro. It was more of the same to me but she sure had a blast.
Ditto on the same guns and same price and I will add same minimum wage salesman, but we had a great time and it was actually a really good visit. Glad we stopped there.
