I love it in my 300 RUM. Pushes 215gr berger’s to 3140 FPS.

I'm shooting a 280AI, my load currently is retumbo, 215M, 168gr accubond LR. At 200 yards I can put 4 bullets in the size of a quarter. I have not chronoed the load yet as I was more concerned with a good group.

I got lucky today and picked up a box of 7MM/168gr accubond LR bullets. Are these bullets like the bergers and need to be seated into the lands or close too???

Ever since I first checked out the viper pst 6-24 FFP I have been impressed. Anyone here on the board own one of these scopes??? I would love to be able to afford the new leupold mark 8 3.5-25 FFP, 35mm tube.

I currently have the Leica CRF1200 and love it. I tried the both of the Swarovski's and didn't really care for the binnocular type. Kinda wished I would have waited and bought the Leica CRF1600.

Well I finally found the combo that works, 160gr accubonds, retumbo powder and F215M.

I have come to the conclusion that its the primers, have not had any failures with federal primers. This 280AI is becoming a real head scratcher. I could not get 160gr accubonds to group and cannot seem to get 168gr bergers to group either. Been using H4831SC, H1000 and MagPro. Some say try...

Ya I see that RL 22 has some real good fps over all the others. I had tried RL 25 in my 300RUM, but ended up using retumbo. I might have save up some coin and buy a jug and give it a try.

Does anyone truly know what makes one powder more temp sensitive then another. I would love to try reloader powder but have heard many horror stories about how temp sensitive it is. I know I experienced it first hand when I tried US869 in my 300RUM. So now with my 280AI I am either using...

How difficult is it to replace that firing pin/spring setup??? I see the tubbs speedlock, or maybe its a holland???? The primers that failed have quite a crater in them. When I did a test between WLR and F210's, the WLR primers were generally 50fps faster then F210's
