Ten Percent Federal Excise Tax on Sporting Goods

My son sent me this this afternoon regarding the 10% tax ofn sporting goods. This is what happens to a country that allows a super-majority of Democraps in both houses of Congress!

This is a 10% tax up to $10.00 on fishing rods, reels, 11 % on archery bows and various %'s on other hunting and fishing items. This is BS. Why didn?t we hear about this? See page 31 of link attached.

The 2.3% Medical Excise Tax that began on January 1st is supposed to be "hidden" from the consumer, but it's been brought to the public's attention by hunting and fishing store Cabela's who have refused to hide it and are showing it as a separate line item tax on their receipts.

Actually, you are now paying much more in manufacturers taxes than do Canadians. Canada put its financial house in order over fifteen years ago. While it was somewhat painful to tighten the belt at that time, the result is that when the remainder of the G7 nations were tanking, Canada was still going strong.
