Has anybody had any experience with this powder. It looks like a ball style powder and I've got an opportunity to pick up two lbs. Based on the container it appears to be used for larger calibers.

I've used X-Terminator. It is fairly fast. I used it in cartridges like the .338 Federal, .356, .358 etc. There are other powders that work better, even in these cartridges.

It sounds like this might be worth a try. My buddie's got a 30-30 that just might like this powder.

It use it in my .556 and love it. Very accurate and clean burning. Plus I can almost get the factory/military velocities so my point of impact is similar.

I was shooting 58-62 grains I think. Velocity with the 300 BT was any place from 2050-2150. With open sights, and kneeling I was able to keep one load under around an inch @ 50 yards.
There might be better powders, I don't know, I have less than 20 rounds down a 45-70 in my life so I'm learning fast.
