My first attempt at bologna...

... is now in the smoker.

I'm planning on burning a pot or two of chips and then transferring them to the oven to finish them at a constant 200 degrees. I hope they turn out well. I microwaved a few small little rolls and the flavor was good. We'll see in a few hours.
 
I've never made bologna; that looks very interesting. I'll be interested to hear your report when it is finished.

I'm very pleased with how these turned out. More bologna making is in my future.

Bring the beer and crackers on over. I only made about six or seven pounds of bologna but another six pounds or so of snack sticks are going into the smoker tomorrow. Should keep us going for a little while.

These came out ok, but are a little too salty. I'll have to adjust the recipe a little before I do another batch.

Just kidding, they look great though!
 
They may be somewhat salty. That just means you need more liquids to wash them down. I can smell the smokey aroma clear up here. They do look fine.
