Man, I had the best range in a long time.

First was the 444 Marlin with H335 and 300 gr XTP at 2120 fps. This is a 4 or 5 shot group. I can not remember.

Nest 257 Weatherby. I got a whole bunch of factory rounds in the deal so I shot them as opposed to reloads.
ALL factory

80 gr Barnes TTSX avg--3980 (not a typo!) fps and .9" at 100 yds. Forgot the picture

110 Accubonds at 3535 fps .65" at 100 yds

120 Partitions at 3360 fps ,85" at 100 yds

Now 30-378

Shot factory 180 Barnes. They clocked 3565 fps and they did 1.25" at 100 yds

Then I tried 110 hr retumbo and the 180 etips 3525 fps and under 1/2"!!!!!

one more grain gave factory equivalent velocities of 3580 fps but was kinda hot. .65" or so

I am very pleased!

Wow, excellent shooting Fotis! Those bolt rifles are keepers, but man, that 444 is a shooter for sure. Funny how all the sudden I get more excited about the lever rifles! Just seems like bolt rifles should shoot well. Those Lever guns throwing thumb sized projectiles always impresses me.

That 257 looks like it likes everything. Can't really argue with that! Scotty

Here are my babies.

Those rifles look great Fotis! That Marlin looks like it is ready to hunt. What an accurate rifle. Just really piling them bullets right on top of one another. Can't ask for much more than that, eh!

Those Weatherby's are darned nice as well. 80gr's of FURY should be exciting to see on live tissue! Scotty

I know man. A 220 swift with 257 caliber 80 grain Barnes X!

Fotis, you have got to put that little bullet into some water jugs! Whatever happens will have to be pretty evil. Scotty

Those are enviable groups. Great shooting. Handsome rifles, as well.

Nice work, Fotis! I have a bunch of those 80 TTSX factory loads coming soon. I hope they work as well in my M700!

Fotis,

Nice shooting buddy.
You need to shoot a speed goat with the 444, maybe even a few sage rats too.

Awesome velocity and accuracy is plenty good enough for some longish range shooting. I really like that .257 of yours. Super rifle! That thing would be perfect for mule deer hunting around here.

If you do this you have to post a video though.

Thank you guys. I am really happy with all of them especially that 30-378.

180 E-tips at over 3500 fps is screaming with that high BC. Now all I have to do is let the air out of something with it!
