Anyone try any of the ssa 308 offerings?

Got the brass. Spot checked wt consistancy....seems fine...most is +/- 1 grain.
Concentricity after truing necks w/m-mandrel avg's about 3-4 thou.
Cant tell neck thickness till the mouth is chamferred but seems OK.
They do punch the flash hole but it doesn't have the ragged burrs I usually see w/rem or win.
Its pretty heavy brass weigh a tad more than lapua at about 178 grains.
Bottom line....it isn't lapua or Norma quality....but I think its as good as rem/win bulk brass.
And...it was certainly priced right.
These are gonna go through a savage LE series rifle that shoots really good and doesn't seem to care how fancy the brass is or even if the ammo has significant run out.

Cool. Thanks for the report.
Let us know how the ammo built on those cases works, compared to other cases. I'd bet it shoots just as well, if not better.
