Has anyone tried the 7x57 and 150 ABLR combo yet? I am considering taking my recent manufacture M70 elk hunting this year.

Thanks, I was thinking about starting with RL17 and IMR 4451.

I've been working them a bit. Velocity has been good but so far accuracy sucks big time. Still have to play with various seating depths in hope of finally finding the sweet spot. Re17 is one I'm going to work with and W760 gave good speed as well.

I reached 2800 without any signs of pressure in one rifle but decided to go with 2750 FPS. (Win. M70 FWT) I'll also be doing work ups for a Ruger #1 and a custom Mauser but that one has very tight dimensions and I figure if I get 2600+ out of that one without pressure signs I'll be lucky. It has a match grade barrel and chamber.
