22 LR Barrel Length Test

None of the data surprised me here since I have a couple of clone Chargers.
One has a 14" barrel and the other one has a 15 or may be a 16" barrel

The first single-shot Remington bolt action .22 my father gave me had a 27' barrel on it. It shot wonderfully. I did have it cut down to 22" when I had my first son to give it to him. Probably didn't need to but after cutting the barrel down, it still shoots great.
A 27' barrel is a long one indeed.

I can see someone wanting a barrel for a different balance. Maybe someone on here will buy your 18" barrel. It sure does shoot well!
I'm sure I would have no problems selling it here, or on accurate shooters, rimfire central, or snipers hide. Someone is always looking for a 22 RF Bartlein.

I gotta wait to hear back from this Bison Tactical place first to see if they truly do have those heavy palma Bartlein 22RF blanks in 22-28" if so, I will be putting my little 18" up for sale. It's just now getting good and broke in with around 1500 rounds through it. It does shoot pretty good, just rather have the longer barrel for a closer feel to my centerfires. Plus I'd like to have it threaded for a tuner this time around.
