Hello Guys!
I'm a new poster here, but have been lurking for quite a while. Have recently bagged a few beasts and was lucky enough to catch the bullets. So without further ado...

175gr Remington Core Lokt
7mm Remington Magnum
Sig SHR 970 24" barrel
64gr RL22

This bullet hit a big male Oryx on the shoulder at around 80 yards. Both sholders were broken and the bull dropped on the spot. Bullet was recovered under the hide on far side.

RW: 117gr
Dia: 0.56"

Welcome, and nicely done!

I understand Oryx are pretty tough. Looks like that 175 Remington is a mighty deadly mushroom after all...

Regards, Guy

Welcome to the forum. Looks like it performed well especially for a cup and core bullet.

Glad to have you posting here. That is a good catch on the Core-Lokt. The 175 grains always performed well for me in my 7 RM. Eventually, I gravitated to several other bullets, but generally stayed with 175 grain bullets. Some neat data presented.

Welcome Reaper1, I am sure you are going to enjoy this group lots of fun with lots of knowledge. From the little bit I know, I have found alot of Remington bullets do a fine job (y).
Thank you for the post and photos and I look forward to many more.

Blessings,
Dan
