This takes place in Canada and has me asking the age old question.
I’m not a catholic but was born into a Catholic family. Catholic since my Grandfather, on my dad’s side, was sent to a Catholic seminary by his Jewish parents to keep him alive instead of fighting in a war for Nicholas II the last Russian Czar. My aunt, on my mom’s side, was a Catholic Nun. I was even an Altar Boy before finding Christ. Why the church didn’t burn down then is a wonder in itself.
I find it hard to believe that the Catholic Church has strayed so far from its basic tenets that I can only shake my head and view it as Revelations coming to pass.
I’m blessed in that I know who my Lord and Savior is. I can be welcoming to anyone even if they don’t believe as I do as this is what Christ commanded. It doesn’t mean however that I condone or approve of the sin. We are all sinners and I’m pretty good at sinning.
