I'm shooting a 20 inch barrel 6.5 Creed, getting 2550 fps w/ the Hornady factory 143gr ELDX. I want to load the 140 gr Nosler BT w/ RL26. I'm wondering if a LR mag primer would help get me the velocity I'm looking for (2700/2800 fps). Any input would be appreciated.

Has anyone tried the .264, 130/140 gr Hammer bullets on deer and accuracy?

Thinking about trying out my 22-250 for deer hunting here in Maine. Will use the 64 gr Bonded flatnose at 3620 fps. Where would be the best place to hold,lung shot or neck shot.

Found a old can of H 110 today at my LGS. The can is card stock with metal top and bottom price sticker $8.59, got it for $7.00. It looks and smells right. Can this stuff go bad over time. I load it 44 Mag (Hornady's Max) 240 gr bullet and 300 Black Out 18.0 gr under a 135 gr bullet.

Looked a CVA Scout V2 in 45-70, and was sort of impressed. Looks very well made and very nice trigger. Not a lot of info on the web about these. Dose anyone here have experience with this rifle.

Looking at the .458 300gr Ballistic Silvertip for my 45-70. Is there any adverse affects of the coating on these bullets. I have the reg. uncoated version and they shoot well in my 1885 @2000 fps. The BST's are on sale for a good price just don't know about that coating,don't want it in the bore...
