I recently acquired a Remington 700 chambered in 35 Whelen. It came with some components...225 gr AB's, brass, and 3 lbs of Varget powder. I'd like some advice on where to start with this. I know that Nosler data shows 56.5 gr as a starting point with Varget, but are there any better options?

I just came into 500 of these 150 gr 7mm spitzers. Am I right in assuming that I can use the #7 data for 150 gr bullets? I plan on using these in my 7mm Rem Mag and 280 Rem.

While at the range today, I found a bullet jacket that had been fire some time ago. It struck me as odd for having a "design" in the base. Any idea what this bullet may be? It is a .308 diameter bullet. It has what appears to be crosshairs or the zodiac sign on the base.

That's right. After a few years of loading on a Rock Chucker, I've finally decided to go with Big Blue. I'm getting a RL550B. It should allow me to load at a higher rate and still maintain some control over every step. Anyone have and advice or pointers?

Has anyone experimented with W748 or H335 with these bullets in a 223/5.56? I know the Nosler #7 lists only 4 powders (IMR4895, Varget, Benchmark, CFE 223), I don't have any of these! Any help or advice is appreciated.
