    Alliant Powder Availability

Here in Australia we pretty much have zero pistol powder. I'm not aware of any new powder for pistols in the last couple of years.....hmm maybe drips and drabs of some of the Vihtavuori stuff but buggar all. 90+% of pistol shooters are simply shooting factory these days. Rifle powder is not...

    Couple of Hornady 7mm Bullets

I shoot a lot of SST's. I'm impressed with there performance and when you consider how much cheaper they are to Nosler's then they represent excellent value for money.

    62gn Varmageddon 223 Rem

were you getting pass through on coyote's or were they staying contained in the animal?

    62gn Varmageddon 223 Rem

Hi all, I noticed the other night when I was showing my daughters boyfriends some shooting stuff and came across some targets where I had been doing load development with 62gn Varmageddon's in my 223. I completely forgot about them and noticed that with 2208 (Varget) they were grouping really...

    Nickel plated vs bronze cases

I don't shoot much at rifle ranges so can't say I have measured the difference. I also don't have a great amount of nickel plated brass either, but what I have noticed is that both nickel and non-nickel do produce the same amount of dead in game.....yet to notice one more dead than the other :)

    Factory Ammo primers?

I would presume so for the most part. I would also presume that manufacturers have some form of commercial agreement to help each other out in times of need. Happens in a lot of industries eg vehicles manufacture, banking, technology etc. They will also source parts from each other to fill...

    Reloading Logs

I use Reloading Studio (https://reloadingstudio.com/) but I use an old version before the guy moved to a SaaS model. I haven't tried the SaaS solution but I suspect it has at least the same features as the old one that you install manually. One thing I like is that it will give you an...

    Really???

Fairly certain that 4350 is made in Australia under the label AR2209 from ADI Powders. Taking into consideration the exchange rate, your $78 USD would get you 2.2lbs here of the same powder (we no longer sell anything smaller here). I'm still sitting on a bit over 18lbs of that particular...

    Brass used in Reloading Manuals?

I have never noticed the listing of brass. I just checked the ADI website and they make no mention of it. I would expect they would start with new brass, mostly for convenience. I wouldn’t expect them to reload many as again my assumption is that they would have pre-loaded a bunch of...

    338-06

What are you trying to achieve? is it to put holes in paper to food on the plate? If the former, then keep toiling away, if the latter then you are done now get out and get some game, I say!

    25 Souper or 25-06

I was at a gunshop out at Oakey a couple of weekends ago on my way to a property to address some issues with roo's, fox's, pigs and other problems. I was really surprised how much 25-06 brass they had on hand as well as 25 cal projectiles. I still think the 25-06 is sadly on its way out but...

    Labradar LX

I think the replaceable battery thing is a non-issue. There are a bunch of devices out there with non-replicable batteries in them that work flawlessly in that regard (including Garmin). I have multiple that are still serving me well after more years than I care to remember. If it ever became...

    Enough is Enough?

Are you sure you live there? Sounds more like you like in Australia to me if that's what you are paying :ROFLMAO:
