I have shot 6 deer with the 125BT out of my .308 Makes a mess of the vitals. Never lost a deer with it all but one went all the way through. The one that didnt hit the shoulder.

Man thats like saying anything over .30 cal is just a moose round. Open your eyes. It is legal in many states to use and that alone makes it a deer cartridge whether you think so or not. I have taken well over 15 deer with 60 grain partitions and have yet to recover a bullet... all pass...

.223 will work fine. Very accurate very deadly on deer. I have never lost a deer with a .223 ( I have freinds that lose them with a .300 win mag because they cant shoot) I use as follows: 60 gr PT 24gr IMR 4064 LC brass CCI primer seating depth 2.238 work up to this load use at own risk...

I just loaded accubonds last year because my 150gr .308 BT's were coming apart (In stone dead deer I might add) Just wanted a little less jacket and lead in my hamburger. Shot 4 deer with them last year. Killed like BT's and no jacket strewn everywhere. I love them so far. My 2 cents

I have killed 50+ deer with 150gr BT's will kill every time. I have had alot come apart outa a .308 under 100yds but the deer was alway DRT. I have switched to AB, but wouldnt hesitate to load up some more BT'S

Thanks for your reply My gun does not do well with the 70gr I will stick with the 60gr partition. I have worked up a load that shoots well and cant wait to get a chance to test it in real game. I would love to see the accubond in .22cal and 6mm That would make me smile and buy bullets.

No extraction problem at all. This is great detailed info. I am very non technical reloader I know what works and how NOT to blow myself up but tech detail eludes me.
